Summary: Established by Royal Charter in 1954 and with the central tenets of Unity, Loyalty, Patriotism and Comradeship; The Royal Naval Association (RNA) is the largest of the Naval Associations with approximately 12,000 members spread over some 300 Branches in the UK and overseas. Sharing the same mindset and language, the RNA leads on bringing the wider family of Naval Associations together and chairs the Conference of Naval Associations

Full Membership of the RNA is open to anyone who has served or is serving in the Naval Service (RN/RM/Reserves/RFA/WRNS/QARNNS/RNXS, etc) while Associate Membership is also available for family members and those supportive of the Naval Service and the Objects of the Association. The heart of the RNA is to be found in our Branches where like-minded shipmates meet to enjoy each other’s company and look out for each other’s welfare.
