Summary: The charity's aim is to provide the highest standards of patient services, based on a Hospital-wide commitment to total quality care. Founded by Agnes Keyser in 1899 as a hospital for Officers, it has since developed a reputation as one of the leading healthcare providers in the UK and now the only remaining Service-oriented hospital in the country. Although it now also admits civilian patients, it remains committed to the principle charitable objective of providing the most cost-effective treatment for Service patients, through the provision of subsidies and grants towards the cost of care, thereby maintaining a long tradition of supporting the wider Service community.

Note/Restrictions: Personnel who have served in the British Royal Navy for any length of time are eligible for help. Beneficiaries must be serving or ex-Serving personnel, their spouses, ex-Spouses, widows or widowers.
