Summary: The RNBT was established in 1922 under Royal Charter to help those who are serving or have served as Warrant Officers and below in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines, and their dependants, in need or distress.

The RNBT helps in the following ways:

- Grants to assist with a wide range of individual needs

- Regular payments (annuities) to older beneficiaries on very low incomes

- Care of older people at its own care and nursing home in Gillingham, Kent and at its almshouse in Hornchurch, Essex

- Advice on all welfare related matters.

Note/Restrictions: Need to have served one day, no restrictions on age, gender, nationality or region. Criteria for help is to those in need or distress.
