Summary: As the national charity of the Royal Navy, the RNRMC recognises the demands placed on those who serve and their families. It is the Charity’s view that while one person joins, the whole family serves.

With the men and women of the Royal Navy spending more time on deployments than the other Armed Forces, up to 660 days in 36 months spent at sea, their service creates a unique requirement for help when times are hard.

Through grants given to ships and units who are deployed, assistance with transition to civilian life, family support and care in old age, the Charity is helping to create a world in which the sacrifice that our men and women have made is recognised, no matter what. The RNRMC is there to provide a safety net for those who find themselves in immediate need; supporting counselling services, offering mental health provision and giving those who need the most basic of help, a roof over their heads and a hot meal. And if the worst happens and a loved one dies whilst serving, we provide immediate and unquestioned financial assistance.

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is committed to valuing and supporting sailors, marines and their families for life.
